The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 275 points, or 2.8%, Wednesday, nudging us back above 10,000. Would that wages made similar gains in a single day. Instead, they’re inching the other way: Average weekly pay in the U.S. in 2009 was lower than in 2000, for both college graduates and high-school graduates.
